Building an amenity programme guests actually keep

An amenity range is brand communication in a very small package. Guests handle it, smell it and often take it home, so it deserves more thought than a line item on a purchasing sheet.
Start with the fragrance family. Citrus and green tea read as fresh and work well in business hotels. Amber, fig and cedar suit resorts and boutique properties that want a signature scent throughout the public areas.
Then decide on format. Bottled 30 to 40 ml sets remain the flexible choice, while wall-mounted 300 ml dispensers cut waste and per-room cost significantly for long stay and eco-focused brands.
Finally, packaging. Recyclable cartons, soy inks, embossed logos and a consistent colour palette across soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion pull the whole bathroom together.
